Cubana ChiefPriest Blasts Umahi, Calls on Tinubu to Replace Ministers

Written by Mary Bassey

Businessman and socialite Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana ChiefPriest, has reportedly criticised Minister of Works David Umahi, describing him as the second-worst minister the South-East has ever produced.

The businessman also called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to replace Umahi and other ministers he believes have not performed well in their respective offices.

The reported remarks have drawn attention to the ongoing debate over the performance of political officeholders and the representation of the South-East in the Federal Government.

Umahi, a former governor of Ebonyi State, currently serves as Nigeria’s Minister of Works and is responsible for overseeing federal road infrastructure projects across the country.

His performance and the Tinubu administration’s infrastructure projects in the South-East have featured prominently in recent political discussions. Umahi has defended the administration’s record, arguing that the region is benefiting from federal projects and appointments.

The comments attributed to Cubana ChiefPriest add to the political debate over whether the current ministers are meeting Nigerians’ expectations.

However, the businessman’s assessment of Umahi remains his personal opinion and should not be treated as an established ranking of ministers’ performance.
