Commissioner For Information Hon. Eric Anderson Reacts on CRBC Artists’ Stipend

The Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Mr. Eric Iso Anderson has directed the Management of Cross River Broadcasting Corporation to review the monthly emoluments for Artists (non-staff) upwards with immediate effect.

The Commissioner Eric Anderson calabar gave the directive at a meeting with Artists from CRBC Radio and Television, held at the Ministry’s Headquarters in Calabar.

The Information and Orientation boss wondered how the Artists cope with such meager pay amidst difficult financial times, hence, necessitating an increase of their stipends.

Urging the Artists to up the ante in their productivity, especially with the 24-hour on-air directives of government to CRBC, the Commissioner also listened to the concerns of both the Artists and CRBC Management, with a promise to better the lots of the Corporation.
