The Cross River State Government is set to benefit from the friendly bilateral relations that exist between Nigeria and China with the new developmental action plan and cooperations in various sectors, including educational technology, artificial intelligence, Cloud Computing and Cybersecurity.
Leading the Cross River State delegation to discuss the new cooperation at the Chinese embassy in Abuja, was the Commissioner for International Development Cooperation, Dr Inyang Asibong, who assured the Chinese team of the state\’s readiness for the take-off of the new relationship.
Asibong who said Cross River State under Governor Ben Ayade attaches great importance to developing the state’s relationship with China, explaining that the new corporations is a welcome development.
According to the commissioner, the new partnership will improve the Economic cooperations through information and Communication Technology (ICT), Scholarships and education, as well as science and development.
On his part, the Chinese Embassy Head of Educational Services, Mr Zheng Shuchao, said the office welcomed new partnership that strengthened Collaboration with Cross River State, through the (MIDC).
Other training exchanges between Cross River and the Chinese Embassy include the application of intelligence, reason and science, exploring and delivering free online and Physical ICT trainings, Scholarships and Sponsorships to China among others.
