He started by saying “I am delighted to see Hon. Oden Ewa, the Honourable Commissioner for Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs, receiving the recognition he truly deserves. In addition to his current portfolio, he also serves as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Cross River State Green Economy Council—solidifying his status as a rising political figure in the state.

Hon. Oden Ewa comes from a distinguished lineage. His father, Professor Ibiang Oden Ewa, is a respected academic, while his wife hails from the Cross River Southern Senatorial District. He is well-raised, refined, and cosmopolitan—a true gentleman by every standard.
As his influence continues to grow, it’s unsurprising that certain entrenched political interests in the Central Senatorial District have become uneasy. Reports indicate that these detractors, particularly from Obudu Local Government Area, have resorted to recruiting social media trolls in a bid to distract and discredit him. Yet, Hon. Oden Ewa remains composed, focused, and unshaken—standing as firm as the Rock of Gibraltar.
