Sen Gershom Bassey Distributes Relief Materials To IDPs In CRS

Senator Gershom Bassey , the Senator Representing Cross River South has distributed relief materials to internally displaced persons and their host communities in Cross River state.

The distribution of the support materials was launched by Sen Gershom Bassey through the office , Border Communities Development Agency (BCDA)

The Senator in the statement through the Director of Training, Border Community Development Agency Mrs Obase Ngozi Sarah implores the beneficiaries to make the best use of these items. ‘It is meant to mitigate the suffering of displaced persons’. ‘These items are not for sale but given to you as a support material’ ,she said.

The items for distribution include mattresses, blankets, mats, mosquito nets, wrappers toiletries among others.
