The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) has announced a collaboration with the Cross River State Microfinance and Enterprise Development Agency (MEDA) to support enterprise development in the state.
A courtesy visit by CRS MEDA delegates LED by DG Mr Great Ogban to the SMEDAN Director-General in Abuja which led to the announcement. The partnership will see both agencies collaborate on initiatives that empower small business owners in Cross River State.

The MEDA Director-General also expressed readiness for the Grow Cross River State summit/business clinic program on August 21st, 2024, in Calabar being organized by SMEDAN as part of the Grow Nigeria Roadmap, which shall feature business clinics and trade fair to promote products manufactured in Cross River State.
This event will also serve as the launch of the People Oriented Initiatives for Skills and Enterprise Development (POISED), a brainchild of the Cross River State Governor, His Excellency, Sen. Prince Bassey Otu, focused on developing the state\’s agriculture, technology, and creative sectors.

SMEDAN\’s Director-General expressed his agency\’s readiness to participate in the August event and support enterprise development efforts in Cross River State, and also looks forward to citing industrial development park in Cross River State for products and services
