Freshers Ritual: The heartbreaking moment Unical male students harassed a girl who didn’t want to participate
An 100-level student of the University of Calabar (UNICAL), Cross River State, was recently publicly humiliated and harssed by her male colleagues.
The unfortunate incident occurred during the school’s matriculation ceremony on Friday, December 2, 2022.
It was gathered that there’s a rit¥al in the school where old students ‘bath’ the new students with water as a form of welcoming them into the school. However, the young girl didn’t want to participate in the so called ritual.
Instead of leaving her alone, seeing that she doesn’t want to participate, the group of male students forcefully and collectively continued to pour water on her while asking her if she “wanted to f¥ght.”
They harassed her until her skirt fell off her waist in public, leaving her with only her panties on.
