2023 Elections: IHRPS Recommends Life imprisonment for vote buyers

International Human Right Protection Service a global human rights Organisation with headquarters in Florida USA has through her Nigerian Office has call on Nigeria law enforcement agencies and INEC to look into the aspect of Vote buying in Nigeria as General election is drawing closer.

Reporting live from Abuja, Dr. Charles Omini President IHRPS Nigeria Office, call on INEC officials to also set a new rule for the forthcoming general election come 2023 on vote buying.

Reacting on the penalty for vote buying, Dr. Omini recommend life imprisonment for whosoever is found guilty when it come to vote buying.

Under the electoral guideline, Vote buying is not a gateway for any candidate to use as means of wining election. Therefore defaulters should be penalized critically.

Dr. Omini urge the electoral body in charge of the forthcoming general election to equipped the nation with his recommendations,by so doing, vote buying will be a thing of fear and 2023 general election will be free and fair.
