According to JAMB, candidates are only allowed to come into the examination hall with an HB pencil and a printed copy of their exam slip. The board warned that anyone found in possession of unauthorized items will be denied entry into the exam hall.

Items banned by JAMB On Exam Day

Items banned from the examination venue include mobile phones, calculators, wristwatches, smart devices such as Bluetooth gadgets, smart glasses and rings, as well as pens, books, wallets, jewelry, and any electronic or storage devices. JAMB stressed that strict compliance is required from both candidates and examination officials, noting that violations could attract serious sanctions.

The board also reiterated that biometric verification remains the only approved method for candidate accreditation. Every candidate must undergo proper biometric screening before being allowed into the exam hall.

JAMB urged all candidates to adhere strictly to these guidelines to avoid disqualification and ensure a smooth examination process.
