As we celebrate the International Day of Cooperatives under the theme “Cooperatives: Building a Better Future for All,” I join countless voices across our dear state and the wider cooperative movement to commend Your Excellency’s exceptional leadership. Your visionary approach to governance and unwavering support for the cooperative sector have ignited a new era of inclusive growth and grassroots economic empowerment in Cross River State.
Through deliberate policies, enabling structures, and targeted support, Your Excellency has ensured that cooperative societies across the state are not only surviving but thriving. From access to funding and capacity-building programs to market linkages and institutional reforms, the cooperative sector has witnessed transformative progress under your stewardship.
These achievements have not gone unnoticed. In recognition of these tangible gains and Your Excellency’s proven commitment to people-centered development, the Office of the Special Adviser to the Governor on Cooperative Societies Coordination, in collaboration with the Cross River State Cooperative Stakeholders Association Limited, hereby places a vote of confidence in Your Excellency. We proudly adopt you as the preferred candidate for a second term in office in 2027.
