A Suspected Male Internet Fraudster Arrested by EFCC in Abuja.
Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Wednesday, 27 November 2024, arrested a suspected internet fraudster.
Police arrested the suspect at No. 25 Aliyu Modibbo Street, Guzape Hills, Abuja, for his alleged involvement in internet fraud.
Items recovered from him include a Range Rover Velar 2019 model, $4100 (Four Thousand One Hundred United States Dollars), N2,000,000(Two Million Naira) cash, One AP silver wrist watch, two mobile phones and a laptop.
EFCC Arrests Seven Suspected internet fraudster
Operatives of the Abuja Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission , EFCC, arrested seven suspected internet fraudsters.
On Tuesday, October 29, 2024, authorities apprehended them in the Kubwa area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) following reliable intelligence about their suspected involvement in internet fraud.
Items recovered from them include 13 phones of different brands and a car.
Police Arrests 29 Suspected Internet Fraudster
Operatives of the Abuja Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 arrested 29 suspected internet fraudsters.
Authorities arrested them at multiple locations in the Gwagwalada area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) for their suspected involvement in internet fraud.
They had 32 phones of various types in their possession, which were recovered.
10 Suspected Internet Fraudsters Arrested in Lagos
Operatives of the Lagos Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested 10 suspected internet fraudsters.
On Friday, November 22, 2024, officers arrested the suspects at Adewale Estate and Sea Side Estate in the Badore area of Lagos State.
The arrests were made based on their suspected involvement in the activities of an organized cybercrime syndicate network engaged in computer-related fraud.
Recovered items include cars, mobile devices, and phones.
The suspects have all provided their statements voluntarily.

Once investigations are concluded, authorities will charge all the above suspects in court.
