Adjustment Of Time And Venue For APC Grand Defection Rally For Dr. Emana, Rt. Hon. Asuquo among other In Calabar
In furtherance to my earlier press release, this is to inform our esteemed party stakeholders, registered support groups, invited dignitaries, and the general public that there has been an adjustment in the time and venue of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Grand Defection Rally.
Please note the new details as follows:
Venue: All Progressives Congress (APC) State Secretariat, Murtala Mohammed Highway, Calabar
Time:12:00 Noon
Date: Saturday, 17th May, 2025
This change is necessitated by the need to ensure the smooth and successful hosting of the event.
As earlier announced, leading the defectors from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) is Dr. Emana Ambrose-Amawhe, while Rt. Hon. Daniel Asuquo leads defectors from the Labour Party (LP), and Prof. Edde Iji, the State Chairman of the People’s Redemption Party (PRP), Barr. Attah Ochinke of PDP, stalwarts of PDP in Boki, Abi, Ogoja, Cal. Municipality, Odukpani, Obanliku Yakurr and Obubra etc who recently decamped will officially join the APC.
The defectors will be formally received by the Governor of Cross River State and Leader of the APC in the State, H.E. Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu, and his Deputy, H.E. Rt. Hon. Peter Odey.
All critical stakeholders are enjoined to attend this historic occasion as we consolidate our electoral gains across the state.
