Akpabuyo Youth Council Coordinator briefs STATE CHAIRMAN on the recent happenings

Recall that Akpabuyo earns an allocation from the federal government that today the youths are not seeing it advantages,it is also a piece of knowledge that this same local government is at the edge of cross river state,a land that has several leaders serving in good capacity in Nigeria from one position in office to another.

Today as we speak this same local government is not a place to live in peace as a lot has been going on.

Speaking with newsmen at the office of the national youth council house Cross River state chapter, Comr. Esor Emmanuel Effiom Akpabuyo Coordinator  NYCN CRS , expresses his disappointment on the youths of the land and leaders of Akpabuyo, saying the communities is no longer save as the youths of the land ranging from wards to villages are fighting themselves and making the environment uncomfortable to stay due to high level of kidnappings,cult clashes,killings,raping,stealing and so on,he was heavily bittered when complaining on the recent crisis the local government is facing,after visiting and calling youths to advice and indoctrinating them into their ideologies.

Comr. Esor Ekpenyong Effiom Mentioned his visitation and meetings across the ten wards in Akpabuyo ranging from youth leaders, clan and security agencies in Akpabuyo such as police,OC,anti dragons and DPO on the recent crisis occurring in Akpabuyo

Ekpenyong insisted that the reason for all this crisis in the land is because of politics, he further explained that the leaders of Akpabuyo are divided into political groups which is a barrier for this leaders to come together to think and plan about Akpabuyo and the youths. Most of this leader resides outside Akpabuyo,that’s why most of the conflicts and issues in Akpabuyo that occur,they pay less concern about it.

Out of 100% leaders from Akpabuyo only 30-40% have anything to do with Akpabuyo either by staying there or having a business in Akpabuyo. The rest leaders from Akpabuyo live outside,create business outside.

Comr Ekpenyong suggested that if this clan heads,youth leaders,stakeholders of Akpabuyo and traditional council leaders can come together with the different security agencies in Akpabuyo to discuss this issue in the land a better result will come out.
