In the spirit of unity, progress, and collective purpose, Calabar Municipal APC stakeholders have gathered in a strategic harmonization meeting, graciously hosted by the Honourable Commissioner for Local Government Affairs and the Natural Leader of APC Calabar Municipality, Hon. Chief Victor Felix Idem.
The meeting, held at Marian Hotel, Calabar, on Sunday, 8th February 2026, served as a crucial platform for consultation, alignment, and strengthening of party structures ahead of the forthcoming Congress, while reinforcing collective support for the commitment and vision of the Executive Governor of Cross River State, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu, and his administration.
During the Meeting Leaders, party faithful, and stakeholders reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to unity, internal democracy, peace, and the continued growth of the APC within the Municipality.
The atmosphere was marked by constructive dialogue, mutual respect, and a shared resolve to ensure a successful, credible, and hitch-free Congress.
Leaders present in the Calabar Municipal APC stakeholders Meeting included the APC Calabar Municipal Chapter Chairman, Chief Emmanuel Mbora, alongside his executives; the Former Mayor of Calabar Municipality and DG Infrastructure CRS, Chief Nta Effefiong Eke; Ntufam Maurice Iso; Rt. Hon. Effa Esua; the Vice Chairman of Calabar Municipality, Hon. Okon Nyong; Captain Otu Ita; Mr. Esu Esu; and other respected party stalwarts and critical stakeholders, with over 500 party members in attendance.
