The Cross River State Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress APC, led by the Party\’s Chairman Barr. Alphonsus Ogar Eba met with House of Assembly Members, Chapter Chairmen and Chapter Secretaries on the 19th of June, 2023.
The Agenda for the meeting was to generate names for consideration into State Appointments and Federal Boards.
The Party\’s resolutions are as follows.
1. Three names from each Political ward across the State should be submitted to the Office of the Secretary of Party on Hard copies not later than Friday 23rd June, 2023.
Stakeholders should meet to arrive at these names which should include at least one woman as part of the 3 names from the Ward.
2. Constitution of LGA caucus should be carried out across the 18 LGAs with Chapter Chairmen heading the process as contained in Article 12:15 Of the APC Constitution as amended.
LGA caucus to be constituted with each Political ward co opting one male and one female.
Note that every name should attach CV, showing qualifications, Voter Card, Membership Card and Polling unit results for Governorship and Presidential elections as the case may be.
