APC E-Membership Registration Receives Boost In Obutong Community

Written by calabarGist

The State Security Adviser, South Senatorial District, Navy Commander Amb Patrick Odiong Rtd., has thrown his weight behind the APC e-membership registration exercise in Obutong community, mobilizing agents, leaders, ward executives, and councillors to participate in the process.

Hon. Ita Nyoki, expressed gratitude to the SSA for his efforts in mobilizing the party members for the e-registration exercise, describing him as a grassroot politician who understands the needs of the people.

The SSA emphasized the urgency of the registration process, stating that all hands must be on deck to mobilize the people to undergo the registration.

His message was reinforced by the leader of the Bakassi Legislative Assembly, a community-based leader, who encouraged participants to take the registration process to every corner of the community, polling unit by polling unit. The chairman of Ward 4 was also admonished to ensure effective participation in the exercise.

The village head of Akwa Obutong, in his contribution, urged all eligible members of the community, including those at the fishing ports, to return and get registered. This collaborative effort by party leaders is expected to further boost the registration numbers and strengthen the party’s grassroots presence in the area.

Additionally, individuals experiencing issues with their National Identification Number (NIN) were encouraged to visit the e-registration centers for assistance, where NIN staff will be available to rectify the faults.

The APC e-membership registration exercise is still ongoing, and party members are encouraged to take advantage of it to update their membership status.
