EXPOSING THE FALSEHOOD OF AN ANTI PARTY ACTIVIST

1.0 Our attention has been drawn to not only an embarrassing WhatsApp publication
credited to one Mr. Kingsley Ikpeme but with falsehood-packed claim of speaking for the
good people of Eniong Abatim which he lacks knowledge about and still undergoing
primary tutelage. It is even more annoying reading his claims of linking unnamed person
as being the brain behind mobilizing or inciting Eniong Abatim people to play opposition to His Excellency Governor Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu’s people first oriented
administration and by extension, portraying instability amongst APC Eniong Ward
members.
The mere fact that there’s no name / author of his so claimed publication, speaks volumes
of the extent of desperation he is prepared to unleash on his claimed community / Ward
for political favor and appointment but we can’t be fooled.

2.0 Ordinarily, the said publication ought not to be dignified with a response because of
the psychotic and deranged nature of its author but due to the fact that, the statement is coming from someone whose anti-party activities are well chronicled, documented and who played no role in the entire efforts- physically and financially- to elect any member of APC in the last general elections, requires some rebuttals. It is a well-known fact that he and his cohorts worked hard for PDP and LP because of their interest in pecuniary monetary gains, promises of political office and hatred for the mantra of power shift to the South. We are therefore not surprised of choreographed intention to insult the sensibilities of the revered Eniong Abatim Community who voted massively for His
Excellency, Sen. Prince Bassey Edet Otu even well above the votes that was recorded for
their son, Sen. Asuquo Ekpenyong who is doing his very best to compliment the activities of his Excellency and by extension create the Cross River State of our dream.
3.0 For the avoidance of doubt and at a price of being tautological, Mr Kingsley Ikpeme
never campaigned let alone show up or vote for the President, the Governor, Senator,
House of Representatives and House of Assembly elections in Eniong Abatim or anywhere else to our knowledge. The APC agent for his Asang unit has the list of all APC
Stakeholders that were present for the Feb 25th and March 18th 2023 elections vis a vis
the print out from the BVAS of accredited PVCs, Kingsley Ikpeme is not on that list because he was not in Asang on the day of both elections and we dare him to deny this and we’ll come out with more astonishing revelations.
On the contrary, his romance with both PDP was very glaring during the campaigns but
like a blackmailer that he is, he couldn’t muster the courage to travel to his Asang unit
which was overwhelmingly APC.
It is indeed intriguing but not surprising that, like an amateur blackmailer who is angling
to be noticed, he now turns around to sow seeds of discord hoping to reap other people’s labour. This is part of his stratagem & antecedents which we know and are watching closely. The Eniong Abatim Ward will soon release detailed activities of his antiparty activities. For avoidance of doubt, it’s not true that the indigenes of the three villages listed by him are refugees in their communities.
Firstly, there’s no village by the name Ikot Uyi in Eniong Abatim Community but Uyi Ikot Ekanem. Also Ikot Ebiti is not in any crisis let alone being refugees in their homeland and the same is applicable to Ikot Etcheri. The only village that was over ran and displaced is Ikot Offiong Ebiti which the State Government is fully aware and taking appropriate steps to address.
The above clarification is a clear indication of his lack of knowledge of the villages within
the community he claims he is from.
4.0 Every society at one time or the other have to contain with psychotic and deranged
persons like this and his is not an exception.
Eniong Abatim association and intimacy with His Excellency Sen. Prince Bassey Otu is very
long in time and mutually beneficial.
It’s on record that Eniong has always supported Prince Otu over his 6 Elections and HisExcellency, Sen. Prince Otu knows and he cannot be swayed by Political merchants with
Zero polling unit value merely shopping to create discord in order to profit financially and
with political appointment.
Our trust in His Excellency and his capacity to run the State for two terms have never
been an issue of contention or discourse hence we wonder from where this psychotic
individual was receiving his false prophecies to share in our Dear State that is beginning
to witness some impressive recovery that needs to be sustained.
Having said that, we sincerely apologize to His Excellency and the entire good people of
Eniong Abatim for the embarrassing post intended to create a rift where none exits.
5.0 Accordingly, we as a people, reaffirm our total, full commitment and support to an
administration we all worked hard to bring onboard.
So far we are happy with the implementation of the people’s first mantra and Eniong Ward
and her appointees are poised to ensure the success of this administration.
