“If you are a bad man, whether you are inside Nigeria or outside, you are in trouble. We will go after you. We will bring you to justice.”

President Bola Tinubu declared.

President Bola Tinubu has pledged to ensure that individuals engaging in criminal activities, both within and outside Nigeria, face the full weight of the law. This commitment is part of his administration’s broader effort to restore security, stability, and trust among Nigerians.

The President, represented by National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, delivered this message at the graduation ceremony. This was for the Executive Intelligence Management Course 17  at the National Institute for Security Studies in Abuja on Saturday.

Tinubu’s Message To “Bad” Nigerians –

Addressing the audience, Tinubu reiterated his administration’s zero-tolerance policy toward crime and emphasized the importance of proactive security measures.

Adding to this, the Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS), Adeọla Ajayi, expressed optimism about the nation’s security outlook. He emphasizing that a unified approach among security agencies is key to overcoming challenges.

He highlighted the unprecedented collaboration between the Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) and the National Security Adviser (NSA), which, according to him, has brought synergy to Nigeria’s security operations.

“Together we can win,” Ajayi stated. “The CDS and NSA have driven synergy in a way I have never seen in my career. We need to work together. No security challenge can defeat us if we remain united in purpose.”

Ajayi also assured Nigerians that the administration’s efforts are beginning to yield results. “Very soon, all Nigerians will sleep with their two eyes closed. This is a testament to the direction the President is taking the country,” he said.

As the ceremony concluded, Ajayi expressed gratitude for his appointment, pledging unwavering loyalty and commitment to achieving the administration’s vision for a secure Nigeria. “Thank you for appointing me. I will never let you down,” he affirmed.

These remarks underscore Tinubu administration’s prioritization of national security and determination to foster a safer environment where citizens can thrive without fear of insecurity.

The government has called on all stakeholders, security agencies and the general public, to support this mission and work collectively to build a more secure nation
