The people of Bekwarra Local Government Area bestowed a prestigious chieftaincy title on Dr. Martha Agba in recognition of her remarkable service to humanity. She was honoured with the title Onyie Iritiem I of Ebekwarra, which translates to “Kind-Hearted One.”
In her remarks, Dr. Agba expressed deep appreciation to the people of Bekwarra for the honour and trust reposed in her. She dedicated the recognition to God Almighty, describing the title as both humbling and motivating, and promising to continue working for the good of society.
As part of her commitment to giving back to the community, Dr. Agba pledged to sponsor and register many less-privileged rural dwellers in the Cross River State Health Care Insurance Scheme. According to her, the initiative is aimed at ensuring access to affordable healthcare for vulnerable families across the state.
