Cross River Basin Development Authority received the minister of state water resources and sanitation, Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The federal minister of water resources and sanitation, Bello Muhammad Goronyo ESQ. was received by the cross-river Basin Development Authority.
The minister and his entourage were received by the Managing Director of Cross River Basin Development Authority, Engr. Bassey Edet, as he arrived in the state capital through the Margaret Ekpo airport.
On arrival at the basin authority development, pupils and secondary school students welcome the minister with beautiful tones. In the same vein, the minister picked up interest in the pupil in attendance as he interrogated the child on his vision as he grew up.
The minister, who was accompanied by Basin Development Authority Managing Director Engr. Bassey Edet and staff of BAD, took a tour around the facilities that are being revamped by the current Cross River State Managing Director, Engr. Bassey Administration.
The minister was officially welcomed by the serving corp members at the entrance of the MD office, where a few questions and advice were received from the minister.
The MD Basin Authority Development Engr. Bassey welcomed the minister with other state leaders from the youth council, including Comr. Dan Obo Jr., and staff of the office.
A moment of briefing and introductions of staff and their portfolios was done at the MD Cross River Basin Development Authority office. The MD, who was filled with happiness, appreciated the minister for finding Cross River worthy to visit despite his busy schedule. The MD promised to make everything snappy and endeavor to meet up with other engagements.
The MD took the minister through the history of cross river basin development authority since the state, or Nigeria at large, was attacked by protesters, noting that the whole equipment, from furniture to vehicles, was destroyed.
Everything you are seeing today was replaced currently, and a lot is lacking due to poor funding. The MD, after briefing the minister on the agro-development installation at the Basin Development Authority, called on the minister to see this development and what needed to be funded around the Basin Authority development after his observation.
After much exposure to the whole environment, it\’s now time to launch the latest agro-farming activities already growing at the Basin Authority environment.
The minister, Bello Muhammad, appreciates the state MD of Cross River Basin Development Authority for the efforts they put in to see the renewed hope agenda of Mr. Bola Ahmed Tinubu come true.

After much presentation by staff and students of Basin Development Authority, the minister, Bello Muhammad Goronyo ESQ. called on the staff to see the growth of the cross-river state at its peak. He also urged the staff to note that His Excellency added sanitation to water resources to enable everyone take precautions for a good environment.
Finally, he calls on the youth to see agriculture as a source of self-employment for those who are not officially employed by government agencies. He also calls on the staff to use these opportunities to talk to the youths around the state about adhering to good developmental character that will groom the state well.
At the end of the event, the Cross River Basin Development Authority presented an award to the minister for his great support for development.
