Sen. Gershom Bassey reaffirms his title as the Chief Empowerment Officer of Cross River State as he gifts motorcycles to all ward leaders of Biase Local Government Area. The motorcycles were given to the constituents of Biase to aid their mobility and also create a source of income for the beneficiaries.

Representing the Distinguished Senator, the DG of Sen. Gershom Bassey Campaign Organization, South, Barr. Asuquo Ekpo Ada, presented the motorcycles to the beneficiaries in Biase. The DG while addressing the beneficiaries said ‘this is one of the ways of making the people feel that the Party, PDP cares for his people since the Governor left the party. The Senator will continue in this kind gesture and members of the party and Cross Riverians will continue to feel the impact of our leadership

The PDP Chapter Chairman of Biase Local Government, Hon. Austine Aidam in the same vein applauded the kind gesture of the Senator. He commended the Senator for sustaining the Party after the Governor defected to the APC. Hon. Aidam used the medium to call on all leaders of the party to support the #Back2South Agenda. He also called on party leaders to mobilize for voters card registration as it is the only weapon for PDP to get back her stolen mandate.

Also speaking, Hon. Chris Edadi Financial Secretary PDP-CRS thanked the Senator for empowering the people and leaders of party across the Seven Local Government Areas with about 76 motorcycles. Edadi charged the beneficiaries to reciprocate the kind gesture by using the motorcycles for mobility of voters registration. Hon. Edadi urged other leaders to follow the ways of Sen Gershom Bassey, as it will enable the party to reclaim its stolen mandate.
