Don\’t send me a gift on my birthday. Give that money to the poor on my behalf. Nigeria is going through hard times, says ANIEBIET GODWIN

Aniebiet Godwin, a young Nigerian and a student Union leader announced on his Facebook timeline two days to his birthday after receiving gifts, that nobody should send in gifts to him on his birthday, but convert it to money and give to the poor on his behalf.

He also said that he would prefer his friends not to recharge a hundred naira to call him, rather they should give that hundred naira to the poor on his behalf, then send him a beep call if there\’s no airtime at all. He said he will know they remembered him.

Aniebiet Godwin is a God fearing student leader who has held some positions in the students community and a young man filled with wisdom.
