The National Coordinator of the Boki Youth for Peace Movement in 2013, Hon Bukie Okangbe, has reached out and appreciated the Honorable Commissioner for information cross river state Hon Erasmus Ekpang and the Chairperson of Boki local government area Hon Mrs Beatric Nyiam for visiting the Iso bendeghe and Boje in search for peace.
Hon Buks ad she is fondly called also thank the leaders of the two communities for listening to the cry of Boki sons and daughters, who have appealed for calm in the land.
Bukie okangbe in 2013 led the entire Boki Youth to boje and Nsadop and Iso to seek peace during the same crises.
She has called on the SA Youth to the local government to build a bond with all youth leaders in the land and regularly engage them so crises like this can be avoided next time.
In her words
Boki is all we have if we struggle to build and then destroy. What then do we leave for our children War can never be the solution
Let us unite for the sake of the future generations of our Boki land.
