The Woman Leader of the City Boy Movement in Cross River State, Queen Benedicta Akpana Ogbang, has praised the administration of Bassey Edet Otu and his wife, Eyoanwan Otu, for their impact on youths and women across the state.
Speaking during the carnival thanksgiving parade, Queen said the event was organized to celebrate God’s grace upon the state and appreciate the leadership of the governor and the contributions of the First Lady through the Mma Adiaha Foundation.

She commended the First Lady for her commitment to empowering women, describing her as “a mother to all women in Cross River State,” while also applauding the governor for his strong support for youth development.
Queen emphasized that the current administration has created opportunities for young people, urging youths especially young women to remain actively involved in promoting the state and supporting initiatives that drive growth.
Quoting the Bible, she noted that “unless the Lord builds a house, the labourers work in vain,” stressing the need for gratitude and unity as the state continues on its development path.
She concluded by appreciating residents for their massive turnout at the event and reaffirmed the commitment of the City Boy Movement to youth empowerment and community development in Cross River State.
