In a heartwarming display of festive generosity, Comrade Elisha Okon, Special Assistant on Political Affairs to the Executive Chairman of Akpabuyo Local Government Council, distributed Christmas gifts to 30 vulnerable women in Idundu Ward, Akansoko clan. The event, graced by prominent community leaders, including Mr. Okokon, Ward Chairman, Mr. Ekpeyong Edet, Ward Secretary, and SA New Media, Amb. Effiwatt Ededem, was a testament to the council’s commitment to uplifting the less privileged.
The gifts, comprising bags of rice, wrappers and cash support, were presented to the beneficiaries amidst palpable joy and gratitude. Comrade Elisha, in his address, expressed the council’s desire to spread Christmas cheer to those in need, highlighting the administration of Hon.
