The Chairman of the Cross River State Diaspora Commission (CRIDCOM), Otu Okor, FCAI, has been inducted as a Doctoral Fellow of the Institute of Management and Advanced Leadership Excellence (IMALE).
The induction ceremony took place in Port Harcourt, bringing together professionals and distinguished personalities from different sectors to celebrate excellence in leadership, management, and professional development.
Speaking shortly after receiving the honour, Chief Okor described the recognition as both humbling and a call to greater service.
He expressed deep appreciation to the institute for the prestigious fellowship, noting that the recognition reflects years of dedication, vision, and the unwavering support of his family, Cross Riverians in the diaspora, and the people of Cross River State.
Chief Okor dedicated the honour to the Governor of the state, Bassey Edet Otu, whom he described as an inspiring and visionary leader. He reaffirmed his commitment to continue contributing to leadership excellence and development in the state and beyond.
In his welcome address, the Registrar of the institute, Abubakar Sadeeq Yusuf, stated that the institute remains committed to grooming leaders capable of meeting the challenges of a rapidly evolving world.
According to him, IMALE focuses on leadership development through professional programs, research engagement, and international collaborations aimed at equipping professionals with the skills required to excel in their fields.
He further noted that the induction ceremony highlights the growing credibility of the institute and urged all inductees to uphold the values of character, competence, and ethical leadership while serving as ambassadors of excellence.
