The Cross River State Diaspora Commission (CRIDCOM) recently welcomed Hon. Dr. Abike Dabiri Erewa OON, Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), on a 2-day working visit to Cross River State.
The visit commemorated the official commissioning of the Cross River State Diaspora Commission Office, a milestone event that underscores the State’s commitment to engaging its diaspora community.
Upon arrival, Dr. Abike Dabiri Erewa was warmly received by the Chairman of CRIDCOM, Prince OtuOkor, accompanied by other commissioners. The NIDCOM boss subsequently had a productive audience with His Excellency, Sen. Prince Bassey Edet Otu, Governor of Cross River State, at the conference room of the Government House.
The meeting highlighted the strong partnership between NIDCOM and CRIDCOM in fostering development and cooperation between Cross River State and its diaspora community.
The official commissioning of the CRIDCOM office marks a significant step towards harnessing the potential of Cross Riverians in the diaspora for the state’s growth and development.
