Cross river state Government plans toward ensuring a safe and secure Cross river. The governor His Excellency Senator Prince Otu after due consultation with the key security chiefs in the state has directed as follows.
1. A total ban on the activities of commercial motorcycle within the calabar metropolis.
2. Those willing to use their motorcycle to earn a decent living are restricted only to remote areas away from the city center.
3. Anyone caught going against the directive will leave the motorcycle impounded and the offender prosecuted.

In the same vein those in criminal vandalization of public amenities like street light lamp post,traffic light etc are advice to desist forthwith as culprit will be made to face the full wrath of the law.
