Dangote Refinery has reduced the price of petrol (Premium Motor Spirit) to N899.50 per litre to give Nigerians some relief as the holiday season nears.
The announcement was made on Thursday by Anthony Chiejina, the Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer of Dangote Group.
This price cut is meant to make transportation more affordable during this festive period when travel costs usually rise.
Chiejina further announced a special offer, saying customers can get one extra litre of fuel on credit for every litre they pay for in cash. To qualify, they need to provide a bank guarantee from Access Bank, First Bank, or Zenith Bank.
“To help reduce transport costs this holiday season, Dangote Refinery is offering a special discount on petrol. Starting today, our petrol will sell at N899.50 per litre at our truck loading station or Single Point Mooring (SPM)” she said.
The refinery expressed gratitude to Nigerians for their support and reaffirmed its dedication to providing high-quality, eco-friendly petroleum products at affordable prices.
Chiejina highlights that Dangote Refinery is putting an end to Nigeria’s reliance on low-quality, blended imported fuel, which has long damaged health, machinery, and the environment.
