De Caucus Team Pays Courtesy Visit to Cross River State Deputy Governor

The De Caucus team recently paid a courtesy visit to the Deputy Governor of Cross River State, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Peter Odey, to discuss the people -driven political sensitization and good governance initiatives.
The team was presented to the Deputy Governor by the spokesperson, Media Personality and Brand Consultant Awade Friday, who emphasized the crucial role young people play in driving political awareness and supporting the existing government for effective governance. He highlighted the need to mobilize the people of Cross River State to embrace good politics and contribute to societal development.
Prince Agbor Onyi, a Ph.D. scholar, further elaborated on the team’s mission. He stated that the caucus aims to address key issues surrounding leadership and information dissemination in Cross River State. The group is committed to grooming young people to become effective leaders by equipping them with knowledge about true leadership and governance. He noted that the caucus operates without hierarchy or ego, treating all members equally regardless of personal portfolios.
The Special Adviser on Youth Mobilization, Comr. Dan Obo Jnr., officially presented the caucus mandate to the Deputy Governor, detailing their objectives and strategic plans for achieving their goals.
In his response, the Deputy Governor welcomed the team warmly and expressed his admiration for their dedication and vision. He commended the convener for mobilizing such a significant group of young leaders and reaffirmed his support for their mission. His Excellency assured the caucus of his involvement and commitment to fostering the people of Cross River State to participate in good governance.
