In a bid to strengthen the health system of the state, the director general of the cross river state primary health care development agency Deaconess Mrs Abasioffiong Offiong has met with all the local government inspection officers (LIOs), heads of the World Health Organization (WHO), UNICEF and Monitors and Evaluators to chat a positive way forward on immunization and data collection.

Speaking during an enlarge stakeholders meeting, the DG Mrs Abasioffiong Offiong assured all parties of a continuous synergy and smooth working relationship to ensure that the collection of data and immunization exercise across the state continues to record success.

So far, the state has remain top in terms of immunization and vaccination exercise and Mrs Abasioffiong has charged all parties involved to keep that pace and ensure we don\’t lose our position.

The health care services for cross riverians remains a top priority to us and we must continue to put modalities in place to always give cross riverians the very best as that is one of their fundamental human rights. Mrs Abasioffiong added.
