The Honourable Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs, Hon. Dr. Helen Isamoh Egodo graced the auspicious International Cooperation & Investment Summit at the Calabar International Conference Centre

The Summit which is slated for two days 30-31 August, 2023 respectively, has the theme \”The Paradigm Shift\”, offering a high level forum for discussions, cooperation and investment for humanity\’s challenges, bringing key stakeholders together to invest in the most promising solutions.

Speaking during the opening remark, His Excellency, Governor Otu stresses his administration commitment in delivering the PEOPLE\’S FIRST MANDATE. According to him, this can be achieved by diligently seeking local and international cooperation for investment opportunities that would support the realization of this mandate, which includes; Agriculture, Infrastructure, Tourism, Technology, Health Care, Education and Energy.noting that, this year\’s summit is critical, having 13 projects across 5 key sectors under consideration.

\”This Summit is the first in a series of initiatives that are geared towards building a private-sector-led economy in the state that will guarantee wealth and job creation, provision of basic Infrastructure, public sector reforms, agricultural value-chains development and poverty reduction. The theme \”The Paradigm Shift\” has been carefully chosen to reflect the collective aspirations of this government in our desire to move from a public sector-deminated state to that driven and propelled by the delibrate increase in investments in critical areas of the the State economy.
