The Faculty of Agriculture, University of Calabar( Unical) has elected Prof. Egrinya Eneji of the Department of Soil Science as the new Dean of the Faculty.
In the same vein, Dr. Simon J. Okweche of the Department of Forestry and Wildlife also emerged unopposed as Sub-Dean.
Additionally, Dr. Otu I. Ettah of the Department of Agricultural Economics was elected SIWES/Practical Year Programme Coordinator, and Dr. Pascal Ogah Ozung of the Animal Science Department emerged as Chairman, Faculty Postgraduate Committee.
They were all elected during an extraordinary Faculty Board Meeting, where elections were conducted for key positions.
According to a letter signed by the Faculty Officer/Secretary to the Board, Godwin Usetu Agbam, their tenure will last for two years.
The University Community has been requested to accord them the necessary courtesies due to their offices.
