The Florence Agogo Foundation Scholarship Scheme began as an essay competition known as the Florence Agogo Essay Competition, which was launched in 2020. During its inaugural edition, over 50 participants applied, and three winners were awarded scholarships.
The Florence Agogo Foundation Scholarship was established?
In 2021, the foundation took a significant step to assist educationally driven individuals by introducing the Florence Agogo Faculty Scholarship. This phase was exclusively for law students, and after a rigorous selection process, five winners emerged.
Recognizing the need for broader educational support, the foundation expanded its reach in 2022, evolving into the Florence Agogo Foundation Scholarship Scheme. This transition allowed the initiative to go beyond faculty-level assistance and support more students across various disciplines.
Beneficiaries of Florence Agogo Foundation Scholarship Scheme
The Florence Agogo Foundation Scholarship Scheme has consistently expanded its reach, impacting numerous students:
2022: Over 300 applicants as 30 winners received 50,000 each making it 1.5M
2023: Over 1,000 applicants, as 37 winners received 50,000 each, a total of 1.8M
2024: over 2000 applied, 37 winners selected and rewarded with 50,000 each, a total of 1.8M
2025: Over 2,600 applied and 37 winners were awarded scholarships of 100,000 each a total of 3.7M

Florence Agogo’s Motivation and Vision
Speaking about her inspiration for the initiative, Florence Agogo stated:
“I am motivated by a genuine love for growth, compassion, and empathy, as well as a strong desire to touch lives in my own little way and contribute to the overall development of society. My goal is to ensure that every young person has access to quality education and their basic academic needs met.”
