Gov Otu appoints Barr. Orok Bassey Okon as new Head of Service
His Excellency, Senator (Prince) Bassey Edet Otu, Governor of Cross River State, has graciously approved the appointment of Mr. Orok Bassey Okon as the new Head of the State Civil Service, effective 19th September 2025. This follows the meritorious retirement of Dr. Innocent Ebri Eteng, whose illustrious career in the service of the State stands as a beacon of dedication and excellence.
Governor Otu charged the new Head of Service to lead with vision, integrity, and reform-driven zeal, fostering efficiency,professionalism, and accountability across the public service.
