Governor Otu lauded the Chairman’s early achievements, particularly the launch of a mass transit fleet within just one month in office—an impressive feat accomplished without external funding. The Governor pledged to return to Ogoja with additional support and goodwill.
During the Governor’s visit, Hon. Christopher Agbeh expressed gratitude for His Excellency’s presence at the flag-off ceremony, describing it as a testament to the Governor’s dedication to fostering development in Ogoja. The Chairman emphasized his administration’s resolve to tackle poverty, hunger, and hardship through innovative projects.

The newly launched Ogoja Council bus shuttle is designed to make transportation more affordable, boost internally generated revenue, and provide meaningful employment for local youths.
Agbeh also assured residents that more buses would be introduced to serve rural areas.
The event’s highlight was the official flag-off of the Ogoja Council bus mass transit by Governor Otu, supported by Deputy Governor Rt. Hon. Peter Agbe Odey (Ph.D.), APC State Chairman Barr. Alphonsus Ogar Eba, and Chief of Staff Mr. Emmanuel Ironbar.
