Governor Bassey Edet Otu today received Super Falcons and WAFCON star, Miracle Usani, at the Government House, Calabar.
In recognition of her outstanding achievements and the honour she has brought to Cross River State, the Governor conferred on her the highest honour accorded to a private citizen — Very Very Important Person VVIP of the State.
This prestigious status entitles her to all the rights and privileges enjoyed by VVIPs in Cross River, particularly at official state events.
Additionally, Governor Otu approved the sum of ₦50 million and the allocation of a piece of land to Miracle Usani, as a gesture to celebrate her excellence and properly usher her into the Season of Sweetness.
“This is our way of celebrating excellence and inspiring other young people to reach for greatness,” the Governor stated.
Special appreciation was also extended to Hon. Cyril Omini who is the House Of Assembly member Representing the Yakurr 1 constituency has a role in making the recognition possible.
