THEIR ROLE DURING THE THANK-YOU TOUR ACROSS THE 18 LGAs OF CROSS RIVER STATE.
It’s no news that the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) embarked on a thank-you tour across the 18 local government of Cross River state.
This event which kicked off on the 8th of August, 2022 with the Northern senatorial district of Cross River state experienced an overwhelming acceptance by the good people of Cross River North.
The Prince Otu and Peter Odey tour which progressed to the central and southern parts of the state continued to witness inordinate amount of supporters and supports beyond our imagination.
The Incredible Medical Team lead by Dr Henry Egbe Ayuk as coordinator and Dr Paul Anyiom Odey as Secretary organized and executed a comprehensive free health out reach across the 18 local government areas of Cross River State. Other key players in the team include Dr. Michael Oko Odey, Dr Goodwin Asenye Esuabanga, Dr. Cyprian Ochiche Ntamu, Nurse Emmanuel Olayi and Dr. Asuquo Mfon Asuquo.
Some of the teams’ activities include, free blood pressure check, malaria test, random blood sugar test, HIV screening, Hepatitis B screening etc. Drugs distributed includes antimalarials, antimicrobials, haematinics, analgesics, proton pump inhibitors, antihypertensives, antidiabetics and antihistamines.
The beneficiaries of the health out reach applauded and appreciated his excellency Sen. Prince BASSEY EDET OTU and Rt. Hon. Peter Odey for bringing free health care to them during to their thank you tour across the state.
Furthermore, participants prayed for the success of our dear Ntufam Sen. Prince Otu and Peter Odey ticket to come to a success in the 2023 polls as they promised to galvanize enormous support within and outside their wards and local government.
The free health out reach is a continuous process that aim at touching the lives of Crossriverians especially those domiciled in the rural areas.
This is in line with whom Sen. Bassey Otu is “a caring father, enthusiastic leader and a passionate administrator”
With sweet prince, Cross River state shall be sweet again.
