Mayor of Calabar describes APC Deputy Governor Candidate as an accomplished State Legislator

The choice Peter Odey as the deputy governorship candidate has been described as the best which would add electoral value to the APC ticket in 2023.

This was made known by performing Local Government Chairman of Calabar Municipal while responding to concerns raised by some journalist on sideline of the thank you tour event over the place of youths in Senator Prince Bassey Otu incoming administration if he emerges comes February 2023.

According to the Chairman of Calabar Municipality, Hon (Dr) Efeffiong Nta Eke described Peter Odey as an accomplished technocrat who has served Cross River at different levels.

He said that the choice of Odey was because of his humility, service to humanity and his excellent performance in turning the fortunes of Cross River to the advantage of the people.

He noted that the office will spur him to deliver more fruitful and people oriented services that would impact humanity positively for the greater good of the state.

I call on youths of Cross River South Senatorial District and even beyond to support Senator Prince Bassey Otu and Peter Odey’s ticket for continuity of the good job His Excellency Senator Prof Ben Ayade has done for the youths since assumption of office in 2015 which young people have been adequately involve in governance of the State.

He concluded by saying Calabar Municipality will deliver all her polling units to APC before 11am on elections day. “We in this axis believe in capacity and good name.
