UNICAL Convocation Gowns are to be obtained from the Faculty Officers on presentation of evidence of payment for the gown. Gowns not returned by Monday, 13″ April, 2026 will attract a fine of N1,000.00 per day.
For Post Graduate School Graduands, the following will apply:
(1) Outright Purchase of Academic Gowns
(i) Ph.D gowns= N105,000.00 each
(ii) Masters gowns = N100,000.00 each
- Hiring of Academic Gowns
Masters/PGDs gowns = N25,000.00 each - Scroll = N7.000.00
(4) Ph.D Dinner = N20,000.00
(5) Endowment Fund:
(i) Ph.D = N9,000.00
(ii) Masters = N5.000.00
Please note that all academic gowns hired from the Graduate School must be returned within seven (7) days from the date of the convocation. Defaulters will be sanctioned as appropriate.
(6) Invitation Cards for Parents/Guardians.
Every Ph.D/Masters graduand shall be issued one invitation card by the Faculty Officers to enable them invite one guest each.
(7) Procession
The Convocation Procession will adhere strictly to the Keffi Protocol for the conduct of Convocation.
Graduands should robe and join the procession in their various Faculties. Graduands who do not robe will not be allowed into the convocation ground. Photographers will not be allowed at the procession. All photographs will be taken after the convocation.
(8) Prizes and Awards
Prizes and Awards will be announced and presented to winners at the Convocation field
(9) Alumni Membership Registration
Graduands will be expected to complete registration forms for alumni membership from their Faculty Officers and pay membership registration fee.
