In response to the rising rate of human rights abuses and violations globally, the International Human Rights Protection Service (IHRPS) is set to release its West Africa Human Rights Abuse and Violation Index by June.
This was announced by the Special Envoy to West Africa, Dr. Charles Omini, during a media briefing in Abuja.
Dr. Omini expressed deep concern over the alarming increase in child trafficking across the West African sub-region. He emphasized that IHRPS is forging strategic partnerships and collaborations with relevant agencies to strengthen efforts in the fight against child trafficking.
Ambassador Omini reaffirmed the organization’s zero-tolerance stance on all forms of human rights abuse. He issued a strong warning to those involved in child trafficking within the region, stating that no one—regardless of status—will be spared from justice.
