To generate a JAMB profile using NIN:

  1. Obtain your NIN from the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC).
  2. Using a retrievable phone number (not previously used on JAMB’s platform), type: NIN [space] NIN Number and send it via SMS to 55019 or 66019.
    • Example: NIN 23456789012 → Send to 55019 or 66019.
  3. Candidates under 18 years old are advised to use a parent’s or guardian’s phone number for easy retrieval in case of loss or damage.

JAMB also emphasized that the registered phone number serves as a unique identifier, and if lost, it must be retrieved immediately, as it cannot be replaced.

With the registration process set to commence, candidates are encouraged to adhere to the guidelines, register early, and avoid common mistakes to ensure a smooth application experience.
