KWARA STATE POLYTECHNIC DOUBLED THIER ACCEPTANCE FEES AMIST ADVERSITY IN THE COUNTRY ECONOMY SYSTEM:
Spoken to newly admitted student they lamented about the extravagant amount ask from them, the newly admitted students in Kwara state polytechnic beg the SUG executive and NANS KWARA for help.
The sum of N20,000 which has been asked to pay by the school management within 3 days is giving the student concern and the student clamor for reduction of the payments which has been increase from N10,0000 to N20,000.
During interview with one of the newly admitted student who like his identity conceal he said if the School management can double the acceptance fee within a year what will they do about their school fees, he said that he hope the school management won’t try to increase the school fee also.
The Student commend the efforts of the students union government (SUG) which recently met with the management on the reduction of payment of loss of ID card, transcript and other payment which has also been increased and urge them to the to the same about the acceptance fee.
Waiting for the school management to give their reason for asking for such huge amount from students, their should be a good and tangible reason for the increment. Saying this a bad start the student urge the school not to increase the school fees.
