THE FRAUDSTER WHO EXTORTED #60,000 SCHOOL FEES FROM A UNICAL STUDENT HAVE BEEN ARRESTED ALL THANKS TO NACRISS UNICAL PRESIDENT­

Our attention has been drawn to the
Serial extortion and fraudulent activities by students in university of calabar.

This came as a result of the unfortunate scene that happened On monday, 12th of June. Were an innocent malabress named Edim Ekanem Okokon, a direct entry student from the department of Business management, Faculty of management sciences, was extorted the sum of 60 thousand naira by a fellow student named Asuquo David Ekpe from the department of continuous Education.

As reported, Ekanim Okokon is said to have given Asuquo David the sum of 60,000 naira to pay for her school fee which he fraudulently took it for his personal use.

Through the effort of NACRISS UCC PRESIDENT, there was a quick follow up on the incident and the said fraudster has been arrested and detained at the security unit.

As this call for action, we therefore warn that any student cough in any form of fraudulent activities will face the consequences.

In a bit to address this issue, we therefore advise malabites and malabresses to always pay their school charges through the right channels as any student who go contrary to this, do so at their own risk.
