The National Association of Cross River State Students Worldwide (NACRISS-WW) has announced a partnership with the Cross River State Microfinance and Enterprise Development Agency (MEDA) to launch the “People-First Campus CEO” initiative. This collaboration aims to foster entrepreneurship among undergraduates across Cross River State.
During a recent courtesy visit by NACRISS-WW to MEDA, Director-General Great Ogban affirmed the State government’s dedication to supporting entrepreneurship at all levels. He highlighted the “People-First Campus CEO” initiative as a key program to encourage students to start and grow their own businesses while pursuing their education.

Sen. Uke David, leader of the 2024/2025 NACRISS-WW Executive Council, expressed strong optimism about the initiative’s potential to stimulate economic growth and empower students to become self-reliant.
In recognition of his contributions to the association and student unionism, NACRISS-WW presented a meritorious award to DG Great Ogban during the visit.
The “People-First Campus CEO” initiative will provide crucial support to student entrepreneurs by the creation of Enterprise Units in every ward and polling units throughout the State, enabling them to scale their small businesses.
