Representatives from the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) paid a solidarity visit to the Honorable Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs- Dr Helen Isamoh- Egodo.
The delegates described the humanity first advocate as a “Mother to Cross River State Students “ bearing in mind her selfless service to humanity as not just a Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs but also as a Teacher, Lecturing in the renown National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN).

They further appealed that the Nigerian students should be placed for due considerations in the ongoing palliative distribution within the state, especially those schooling in rural areas like the Colledge of Education, Akamkpa, School of Nursing, Itigidi etc.
The vice president, internal affairs – Nigerian female students association, Comr Obasi Chinaza Juliet posited that the Nigerian female students will always need her guidance and mentorship to enable them thrive in politics, leadership, community development and advocacy.
Dr Egodo informed the students representatives that a Commitee has been set to oversee and ensure an equitable and transparent palliative distribution process as she will advocate for the capturing of the student body.
She further charged them to abstain from vices that will influence them negatively and thrive to be better persons that will chart the course of leadership, change and progress in the society.
