National youth council of Nigeria cross river state Dan Obo Jnr. led delegation of youths to waring communities.

The waring youths of ovurum and ofatura community has accepted to embrace peace among themselves through the visitation of the NYCN CRS Comr. Dan Obo Jnr. who led delegation of youths to the community as war broke out between these communities.

Comr. Obo charged the youths to channel their energy to meaningful activities and development rather than destroy the community and state at large.

Obo emphasis on the youths to take back her Local Government and state which will end war among themselves.
Cultism is everywhere, as the Number one youth of cross river there\’s no local government in Nigeria that don\’t have cultism but the big deal is that, what value is your cultism to your community.

Obo charged the youths by questioning their daily experience if they\’ve not seen cultist becoming top leaders in the state? Why are their cultism localized at home by intimidating the poor. He charge them to go out and use this cultism to bring development to the community and state.

Mr. Ukorebi Esien, State coordinator of civil Society group of Niger delta region, tell youths there\’s no development if the war mindset is planted in the community, stating instance to top cross river leaders with less development in their different local government because of war there.
He promise to train youths,community leaders, religious leaders that are ready for peace in the coming days as he\’ll choose selected leaders to train on ethics of dialogue, mediation, conflict analysis, peace building and conflict management as it will help them dialogue for peace in case such scenario of communal war want to resurface.

In attendance was traditional leaders, women leaders,youth leaders,religious leaders during the meeting.

An eye witness in the community during the war attest to how hard it is for the citizens on the community to have pass through during that seasons, he attest to assisting the community especially the ofatura people who\’s community are permanently destroy. He advice the community youths to maintain town hall meetings.

He plead with the incoming Governor to please forgive the obubra people of ovurum and ofatura on the recent activities ongoing as he\’s about to come in officially.

Giving assurance that the youths of the different communities have stand strong to stop the recent crises.
