The events, collectively titled Cross River South Community Women and Children Christmas Party, commenced on Wednesday at the Akamkpa Local Government Council, catering to the Akamkpa/Biase Federal Constituency.

Justina Edem, the Immediate Past Chairman of Odukpani Local Government Area, Comrade Katame Emilia Abang, Vice Chairman of Akamkpa Local Government Area, and the wives of House of Assembly members from the two Local Government Areas, among others.
