Nigerian Medical Association Cross River State Host NMA South South Zone Executive Meeting.

The Cross River State zone Nigerian Medical Association ably led by the Dr. Felix exco yesterday played host as she welcomed the Nigerian Medical Association South South Zone led by her President Dr Uche Ojinmah in the beautiful capital of Canaan City of Calabar.

The Opening ceremony of the South South Zonal Executive Council meeting which was Chaired by Prof. Ikpeme Ikpeme CMD UCTH ably represented by Dr. Ibene Ekpor the DCMAC had other dignitaries as Chief Dr. Kofi Ikpeme a Medical elder who was the Father of the Day, The Hon Commissioner for Health, Cross River State Dr. Janet Ekpeyong Special Guest of Honour amongst others dignitaries.

Speaking in his remarks the President Dr Uche while delivering his message expressed gratitude at the level of hospitality accorded them by the state and the zone as he thanked the Zone for their love and support whilst extolling and enunciating some of the achievements of his administration as he however spoke passionately on the future plans. The well attended event had the Chairmen and Secretaries of all states in the Zone, Past VP1 Dr OC Koroye, Past VP 2 Dr. Ofem Enang and a host of others.

Speaking after the event Dr.Janet Ekpenyong ceased the opportunity to appreciate the NMA president and other dignataries for choosing CRS to host the event, while reiterating CRSG continued collaboration with NMA, as she hoped they had a fruitful deliberation in the State, while wishing them a safe trip home.

High point of the event saw the CRS Zipline representative use the opportunity to showcase how Cross River State Government is integrating aerial logistics into the CRS health system as the entire team applauded the stride and feat by the Cross River State Government.
