The Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) has conferred its prestigious Fellowship Award on the Cross River State commissioner for works, Hon Pius Ankpo Edet in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the Engineering profession and national development
In her welcome address, the Chairman of the Board of Fellows, Engr. Kamila Wopa Maliki, FNSE, mni, lauded the commitment and professional integrity of the newly conferred Fellows, commending their dedication to engineering excellence.
The conferment ceremony, held on the 22ND OCTOBER 2025 at KANO STATE and was presided over by the President and Chairman-in-Council of the NSE. The event drew a distinguished gathering of Engineering professionals, government officials, industry leaders, and well-wishers who came together to celebrate the elevation of deserving members to the highest professional rank in the Society.
Also, the event marked a significant milestone in the NSE’s ongoing efforts to build engineering capacity and inspire leadership within the profession, reinforcing its role as a key partner in national development.
Speaking to news men after the event, Hon. Pius Edet appreciated God Almighty, his family and the Sweet Governor of CRS for their support all through his journey till this point likewise dedicated the prestigious award to his Excellency Governor, Prince Bassey Otu, family, colleagues, and the entire people of Cross River State
